Anonymous membership — a working proof

experimental · seedling · part of the CALIPSO digital-layer research

This page runs a zero-knowledge membership proof entirely in your browser — nothing you do here leaves this page. Three identities form a group. One of them signals a message. The proof shows the signal came from a genuine member — but not which one. Signal twice in the same round, and it's caught — still without anyone learning who you are.

That's the primitive: candid speech without social exposure, infiltration blocked at the math layer. Built on Semaphore.

Before you continue: this proof anonymizes your membership in the group above — it does nothing for your IP address, your browser's fingerprint, or anything else your session leaks to whoever's watching. The math is the easy part. You're the hard part.

Hardware. Run a device with active security support. GrapheneOS on a currently-supported Pixel is the reference point — support for the Pixel 6 / 6 Pro lapses around December 2026, and an unsupported "hardened" phone is worse than a patched stock one.

Software. Use Tor Browser for this, not your daily browser — it standardizes your fingerprint against everyone else running it, which no general-purpose browser can do alone. If Tor's speed and exit-node tradeoffs don't work for you, Mullvad Browser carries the same fingerprint-resistance engineering without onion routing, but it does not hide your IP the way Tor does. A VPN alone does neither of these things.

Maintenance. Use a private window or a dedicated profile — not a tab sitting next to your logged-in accounts. A mathematically unlinkable proof made beside an identified session is unlinkable in name only. Keep the browser itself current; fingerprint resistance depends on matching everyone else's version, not just having the feature turned on.

Current as of July 2026 — this space moves fast. Check the links above before trusting this list over their sources.

ready — step 1 begins the ceremony.

Step 3 downloads the proving artifacts (~4 MB, from the PSE artifact registry) on first run — the one external fetch on this page. Proof generation takes a few seconds on a phone. This is a demonstration group created fresh in your browser; it gates nothing and stores nothing.
